There are two major components of an agitator mixer.

• The Agitator or Stirrer for mixing the material

Generally made up of three main components – a shaft with impellers, a mechanical seal, and a motor with a gearbox option. They are fitted on a stand with manual or pneumatic or hydraulic lifting and lowering systems.
